Community Service

 

All team members must participate in at least 10 hours of community service. Some of these projects include: 

 

  • Lion’s Club: Working with this organization we have helped to sort, clean, and repair thousands of eyeglasses and hearing aids which are shipped around the world in one of only five recycling centers in the country. We even hold eyeglass/hearing aid drives at competitions we attend.

 

  • Safety Town: A program by the Kiwanis club that teaches children the importance of rules and safety. Team members act as counselors and organizers, while the whole team repairs and upgrades the miniature buildings for the program.
