If you like to build, create, and expand on original ideas to make things work this is the perfect area for your expertise. Here in the Mechanical field we take the brilliant ideas and creative decisions made by our team and design experts (the students). "If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which something can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop." - Murphys Law. This quote tells that there are many ways to do something but there is always another way that just might work. This is the difficult part of the mechanical team. They must come up with the best way for the robot to work and test those theories.
