Marketing
For our team, marketing is about spreading the awareness of FIRST and our team, through public relations. This sub team works with fundraising, as well as creating goodwill in the community around us. The marketing team has promoted team awareness at events such as basketball games, hockey games, and football games. Other events include the World Science Fair in New York City, National Night Out, Ewing Community Fest, and Antheil Elementary School’s Hand’s On Science Night. There the team showed off the robot, demonstrating what it can do, and informing people about FIRST. Fundrasing activities have included events such as car washes, coin drops, candy sales, and cake sales. Team members have also gone out to local businesses for donations. Through the hard work of the Marketing team, team 2016 will be sustained for years to come.
