Team Leadership
Team 2016 is set up in a hierarchy of individuals. The head of the team, the Team Captain, maintains order in the team, keeping an effective system of communication between the technical and business sides of the team. The Captain makes sure that everyone is doing their respective jobs in an orderly and efficient manner.
The team is then split into three major sub-sections, each overseen by the Technical Manager, Business Manager, and Competition Manager, respectively. The Technical Manager is in charge of the Electrical, Mechanical, and Programming sub-teams and the overall production of the physical robot. The Business manager oversees the Marketing and Chairman’s sub-teams and raises awareness for the team at large. The Competition Manager is responsible for the preparation for and everything that goes on at the competitions, including strategy, scouting, driving, safety, rules, and team spirit.
